The Manor in West Palm Beach, FL to host the 5th Annual EDI East, June 10-12, 2018

Formerly known as Double Dee’s Saloon, a redecorated and rechristened club, The Manor, will greet EDI East guests and competitors

On Friday, June 8th, Double Dee’s Saloon in West Palm Beach, FL (8199 Southern Blvd) will be rechristened as The Manor, an upscale adult nightclub venue that will showcase a Victorian-era theme. This will be a sharp contrast from the club’s current country & western design, but the club’s owner, Scott Lizza, feels that the change in theme is an overdue necessity.

“We realized that the name was confusing our guests,” says Lizza, noting that the “Ranch” side of Double Dee’s Ranch & Saloon will still function as a live music venue. “People either thought we were just a country western nightclub or just an adult entertainment club when in fact the venue is both! The concept of an upscale adult entertainment establishment was lost in the name.

“We have removed the old management team and replaced it with newer, younger and more motivated people who truly understand our culture,” Lizza adds. “With the help of current ED’s ‘Employee of the Year,’ Taryn Cording, and recently promoted Managing Director Mario Rhinaldi, General Manager Joe Bee and I believe The Manor will soon be one of the country’s most elite adult nightclubs.”

Scott Lizza also owns one of the country’s top adult nightclubs, Monroe’s of Palm Beach, ED’s 2016 Overall Club of the Year Award Winner. Scott notes that The Manor will now feature the same menu and fine dining service that has garnered high praise for Monroe’s, yet another feather in the cap of the soon-to-be-rechristened club.

The EDI (Exotic Dancer Invitational) Contest, an biannual contest held in the “East” and the “West,” showcases the top touring “showgirl” entertainers and the most exciting “newcomer” entertainers, competing in two divisions over the course of three nights.  On Sunday, June 10th, the Newcomer Division will grace the stage at The Manor, while the more experienced entertainers will compete in the Showgirl Division on Monday, June 11th. The top three competitors from each division will compete in the EDI East finals on Tuesday, June 12th.

“Being a part of any EDI, you will experience what this industry is all about,” says GM Joe Bee. “It allows for the opportunity to step out ones familiar market and meet some of most talented MCs, DJs, photographers and future entertainers in our business on a personal level. I enjoy learning something new or sharing something I’ve learned in the adult industry, and EDI allows for that moment throughout the event.”

This year’s EDI East Showgirl Division competitors will include: Aja Marie, Angel Beau, Aria Moon, Bambi Wilde, Bellzora, BJ McNaughty, Natasha Nova and Ruby Ryder. The EDI East Newcomer Division will include: Blake Monroe, Lori Lane, Michelle Lynn, Mila Deluna, Reya Sunshine, Sam Singh and SharZayn.

The EDI is co-produced by Dave Manack of ED Publications, the national trade publication and convention of the multi-billion-dollar gentlemen’s club industry (www.theEDexpo.com), and stage/show producer Lexi Lamour. The EDI East will be hosted by Jimmy Boucher and DJ Platypus, and is sponsored by GentClubShirts.com. For more information on the EDI Contests, visit www.theEDIs.com or call (727) 726-3592.
