Set to launch in December, the new web-exclusive initiative will spotlight the people and products behind adult nightclubs through in-depth reporting, industry insights and practical advice.
ED Magazine is expanding its digital coverage with a new monthly editorial series on ExoticDancer.com, giving adult nightclub professionals an in-depth look at the people, practices and tools that drive their business.
Launching in December 2026, the web-exclusive initiative will explore a different aspect of nightclub operations and careers each month. Through in-depth editorial features, interviews, reader polls, social media campaigns and opinion pieces, the series will share industry perspectives and practical ideas that club owners and operators can apply in their own venue.
“Since its inception, ED Magazine has been the only trade publication dedicated to our industry,” says the magazine’s publisher Dave Manack. “But we want to go beyond reporting on the industry and take a closer look at the people who make it work. These monthly themes will give us the opportunity to examine specific positions, departments and the tools professionals rely on every day, while sharing what it takes to help a club succeed.”

The inaugural theme, “The Door & The Floor,” will focus on two positions found in adult nightclubs across the country: door hosts and floor personnel. Through interviews with club professionals working in these roles, ED Magazine will explore their responsibilities, the skills and experience needed to succeed and the tools they rely on throughout a typical shift.
Future themes will turn the spotlight on other roles that make up club operations, including bar staff, servers, entertainers, DJs and house moms. Each will combine perspectives from the people working in those positions with insights into the resources and strategies that help them do their jobs. The goal is not only to recognize professionals whose contributions may go unnoticed, but also to share knowledge that can help club owners and managers strengthen their teams, refine their operations and improve their businesses.
The initiative aims to make ED Magazine’s website an even more valuable resource for the professionals who power the adult nightclub industry, making it a destination for focused coverage that readers can explore throughout the month.
“What we really want to accomplish with these themes is to recognize every team member and every position that makes up an adult nightclub,” Manack adds. “A club’s success depends on far more than its entertainers or general managers. By dedicating each month to a different part of the business, we can recognize the people whose contributions often go overlooked while sharing practical insights that help owners and operators strengthen their teams and make their venues even better.”
