Tia: Wow, what an accomplishment!! It’s an honor to be chosen when there are hundreds of talented dancers across the world. I’ll wear this title proudly.

Tia: At 18, I decided I wanted to take a gap year before starting university. Well, that has turned into a nine-year gap year and career! Dancing was something I’d had some experience in, having taken pole dancing classes from age 15. It didn’t seem like it would be too far removed from what I already knew and I’ve never been one to shy away from a taboo challenge.

Tia: I love the opportunities it has provided me over the years. I have traveled all over Australia and internationally twice doing competitions and feature residencies at other clubs. I have been able to live my life to the fullest, buy a house, have all the nice cars, go on all the holidays! My life has been an exciting roller coaster from the moment I stepped inside The Mens Gallery doors in 2015.

Tia: There are so many performing failures that happen during solo shows and group shows. The funniest would probably be when I decided to try a new move on stage and got scared at the last second. I usually use the aerial hoop as a swing when I’m naked and slippery with soapy water to slide across the stage and spin around the pole at the other end. This time, I thought I’d try sliding to the pole in a split but when it came time to let go I got too scared and stayed holding on. It wasn’t pretty and my face said everything I was thinking.

Tia: Off stage, I’m a pretty quiet person. I like to spend my time creating costumes, reading and tending to my three horses. I invest a lot of hours in the club training groups and other upcoming performers, so my downtime is very precious to me. On stage, I like to let it all out and be the sexiest version I can muster!

Tia: I like my boobs! I never used to have any, but I made a great investment and now they’re a 10/10.

Tia: Great question! I like to feel the passion from a partner. If you’re acting like I’m the best thing you’ve ever seen in your life, I’m ready to smash.

Tia: When in doubt, head roll!

ED: What is your craziest fantasy?
Tia: Oh no, I’ll be exposed for being boring! I have everything I could ever want and need, so I don’t need to fantasize about anything.

Tia: The best pickup lines are the ones that are funny and off the cuff. The worst ones are when you have to put someone else down to try and lift yourself up. Gross!
