The past 14 months have been among the most difficult that this industry has ever endured. No recession or six-foot distance requirement has had the devastating effect that COVID and its subsequent shutdown has had on adult nightclubs and all of the people who make their living at these clubs. Owners, managers, DJs, staff, entertainers, vendors —everyone.

But the tide is turning. With the vaccine rollout well underway, clubs that were closed are now reopening, and clubs that were operating in a limited fashion are now going back to 100% capacity. Customers are coming back — and they’re ready to have fun again!

At EXPO 2021, four successful club operators — Deja Vu’s Jason Mohney, The Pony Clubs’ Jerry Westlund, Bucks Cabaret’s Curtis Wise and Devil’s Point’s Shon Boulden — will discuss the important lessons they learned during the shutdown, as well the innovations that helped keep them moving forward (including Boulden’s popular “Boober Eats” that landed him and the club in Rolling Stone magazine). They’ll also offer insights on how they’ll rebound and thrive in 2021 and beyond, and what club owners across the US can look forward to as we head toward the big comeback!

This seminar, “The Comeback,” is scheduled for Wednesday, May 26, from 11 am to noon. All EXPO seminars will be held at the host hotel, the InterContinental Miami, on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, May 24-26. For the complete slate of educational seminars, visit the official EXPO site!
