The ED Databases of clubs, vendors, industry professionals and entertainers are the lifeblood of ED Publications. The addresses—both snail mail and email— and the primary contact people listed in those databases are how we reach the industry with ED Magazine and with emails about the publication, the Annual Gentlemen’s Club EXPO, the EDI Contests, special focus issues, and breaking news that affects the industry. Those databases are never done; they have been a work in progress since we first used Filemaker Pro to custom build them three decades ago. They are constantly being updated. And those updates reflect the current state of who’s who and what’s what in the industry. Here are the latest updates:
Clubs
The most volatile of our databases is the ED Clubs Database since clubs change hands more often than businesses do and key personnel at the clubs, particularly GMs, also change often. If we mention here that a club is closed it’s because our mail to the club has been returned, Google and/or Yelp report the club as being closed, there have been no Facebook posts at the club for years, and the phone no longer works. This is a good reason for club owners to make sure their Facebook page has recent posts and to make sure that Google and Yelp show your club as being open. Here are the latest updates we have found:
The Ball Gentleman’s Club on Alcoa Highway in Knoxville was ordered shut down in a permanent injunction filed by the Knox County District Attorney. The injunction deemed the club a public nuisance. The business was temporarily closed in June by a judge’s order which called it a “haven for criminal activity.” Part of the injunction stipulates that the owner agrees “not to own, operate, or have a silent interest in a sexually-oriented business at this location.”
El Chicote Gentlemen’s Club in San Juan, Puerto Rico has closed. The low-key nude club that had been in operation for 12 years, open from 9 pm to 5 am.
However, in other Puerto Rico news, the owners of four clubs in Puerto Rico, Jack Zaidspiner and Kyarelis Gonzalez, attended EXPO 2022 and their clubs in San Juan have now been added to the ED Clubs Database. They include Lips, open 7 pm to 4 am Monday to Friday and 9 pm to 5 am Saturday and Sunday; Frenchy’s, open seven days a week from 9 pm to 5 am; The Doll House, which is open from 3 pm to midnight and includes fine dining and a hookah lounge; and their after hours adult club, D’Girls, which also features a hookah bar and a sushi bar. Bare N Legal Showgirls in Pomona, CA has closed. The full nude club opened in 2006 and was open from noon to 2 am all week. “Sadly the lockdowns decimated this spot. Gotta love big government,” said a Yelp reviewer.
Cameo Gentlemen’s Club in Charlotte, NC has closed, at least as an adult club. It had been in the ED Clubs Database since 2013. The club, located near Charlotte Douglas International Airport, was sold for $3.19 million to a company that announced plans to turn the 20,000-square-foot facility into a live music venue.
Another club that has been reformatted is Centerfolds in Berlin, CT. The topless, full liquor club closed after 25 years in business. It had been located in a two-story, free-standing stone building with a large parking lot. The club has reopened as a fine dining restaurant called Barrel & Vine.
Derriere’s Gentlemen’s Club in Myrtle Beach, SC, a BYOB nude club, has been reported permanently closed by Google. Other news reports say a new gentlemen’s club called Lust may be moving into the location on Seaboard Street.
Pandora’s Men’s Club in the Fort Worth area is one of the newest clubs to open in North Texas. The BYOB nude club with six stages is open seven days a week from 4 pm to 2 am (until 4 am on Fridays and Saturdays) and is located at 3929 South FM 157 in Euless. Website is www.pandorasfortworth.com.
Known by two names, Sky Box or SKY11 in Harvey, IL is now closed, according to Yelp. The topless club had been in the ED Clubs Database since 1997. News reports say the club was a victim of a new city ordinance requiring adult clubs to close at midnight.
Attending EXPO 2022 were two club owners, Jon Bransfield and Rich Tucker, who have been active in club sales and purchases recently. Awhile back they bought Night Trips at 114 E. Washington St. in North Webster, IN, which had formerly been called Stimmelators and had been owned by Sam Stimmel, a longtime EXPO attendee, who passed away last year. In June they also bought the VIP Club at 904. S. Western Ave. in Marion, IN and renamed it Rebel Dolls Cabaret (rebeldollscabaret.com). It is a topless bar with dollar dances and champagne rooms and is open seven days a week from 8 pm to 3 am. Bransfield also reports he recently sold Sirens, which he had owned since 2011, to Peppermint Hippo.
The Pumptown Tavern and Showbar at 458 S. Main St. in Spring City, PA has changed its name to Baby Dolls ShowBar.
The returned mail to the ED offices said “deceased” which we have never seen before. We get returned mail that says “closed” or “no forwarding address” or “no mail receptacle” but this returned mail just said “deceased.” Exactly who was deceased, USPS didn’t say.
The location is famous for being the only adult club in Chester County and for operating for more than 40 years. New owner John Sullo attended EXPO 2022 with three of his staff. The go-go bar (www.babydollsshowbar.com) is open daily from 5 pm to 2 am, and from 3 pm Friday to Sunday.
Lookers at 3121 W. Navy Blvd in Pensacola, FL has changed its name to Cheetah Pensacola, and new club owners Brad Sittler and Rodney Cook attended EXPO 2022. The club (cheetahpensacola.com) is open all week from 6 pm to 2 am. The club has a VIP lounge and champagne rooms. In other Cheetah news, Thee Southern Belle at 2028 Pittsburgh Ave. in Charleston, SC has changed its name to Cheetah Charleston. At one time it had also been called Goodfellas Cabaret. The club (cheetahcharleston.com) is open Monday to Saturday from 2 pm to 2 am.
Club 22 in Harrisburg, PA is closed according to Yelp, and the returned mail to the ED offices said “deceased” which we have never seen before. The nude club had been open from 5 pm to 5 am seven days a week, and had been in ED’s Club database since 2007.
Wild Zebra at 2525 NE Loop 410 in San Antonio, TX has changed its name to Diamonds Showclub and new owner Jerry Kouroumousis, GM Louis Sanchez and two other staffers attended EXPO 2022. The club is an after hours BYOB adult venue.
A new topless club called Eclipse has opened in Boise, ID at 5781 W. Overland Road. Club owners Amber and Jeff Corsen attended EXPO 2022. The club is open from 8 pm to 3 am Sunday to Thursday, and 8 pm to 4 am on the weekend. Their website at eclipse-boise.com states that. “Other clubs offer pasties and promises; we offer the best of the Treasure Valley, with up close and personal lap dances, VIP private dances, and a main stage where clothing is not only optional, it’s barely (if rarely) even there.” .
Tommy’s Too in Portland, OR has closed, according to Google. The bikini bar with pool tables and big screen TVs was added to the ED Club Database in 2017. The club had been open from 10 am to 2 am seven days a week, and had recently been remodeled. Said one online poster, “I worked here as a bartender and cook many years ago, and had an awesome experiences. I feel like flipping burgers and pouring icy cold beer for loving people was one of my favorite jobs!”
The Peppermint Hippo Reno (pepperminthipporeno.com)was formerly Key Club Reno. The club is open seven days a week from noon to 3 am, and until 5 am Fridays and Saturdays. The Peppermint Hippo Toledo (pepperminthippotoledo.com)was formerly Lust Gentlemen’s Club. The club is open seven days a week from 11:30 am to 2:30 am, and until 4 am on Thursdays and 5 am on Fridays and Saturdays).
Paper Moon in at 1007 Salisbury Ridge Rd. in Winston-Salem, NC has a new name and it’s a mouthful: Epic Exotic Nightlife. Club owner Michael Bennett was at EXPO 2022. The club (epicexoticnightlife.com) is open Tuesday to Saturday from 7 pm to 2 am, and 3 am on the weekend, and offers bottle service and VIP rooms.
Classy Chassy at 444 S. Harding in Indianapolis, IN is now Onyx under the umbrella of Jerry Westlund’s chain of clubs. The urban club (clubonyxindy.com) is open Tuesday to Saturday from 3 pm to 3 am, and to 4 am on the weekends. The club offers full dining and numerous VIP packages. GMs are Tatum Polk and Evan Eskharia.
New to the ED Clubs Database is Pearl’s Cabaret at 3106 Hwy. 17 S in North Myrtle Beach, SC. Club owner Brian “Jay” Shaw and two his staff attended EXPO 2022. The club’s website (pearlscabaret.com) states, “You will enjoy a variety of friendly and sexy entertainers, our signature circular stage and satellite stages, ultra private dance suites, a couch room, top shelf full-bar with a varied bourbon selection, cigar selection, as well as VIP Bottle Services.”
Also new to the ED Clubs Database is Pentagon Gentlemen’s Cabaret at 10757 Goodnight Lane in Dallas. The urban club opened in May.
And another new club to the database is Snooty Foxx at 5975 Terminal Ave. in Colorado Springs. GM Justin Williams and a few other staff were at EXPO 2022. The club (www.snootyfoxx.com) boasts “a taste of Las Vegas style entertainment” and is open seven days a week from 4 pm to 2 am.

EXPO 2022 had a packed Tradeshow during the conference, and added to ED’s Vendors Database were a handful of first-time exhibitors at the show. Take a minute to look at their websites and reach out to them for more details on the products and services they offer to the industry:
