It was money that got Natalia Skye’s foot in the gentlemen’s club industry. But it’s a promise to a friend, Miss Kaliyah, that spurred Natalia to become a feature entertainer.
Natalia started dancing at Woody’s Gentlemen’s Club in Iowa in 2017, lured by the potential of financial security.
“I saw how much money girls were making at another strip club I had visited and wanted to do the same,” says Natalia, frankly.
The next year, 2018, she met her first feature entertainer, the aforementioned Miss Kaliyah.
“She and I worked together for a while and she would constantly be in my ear to start a career in featuring,” Natalia recalls. Miss Kaliyah passed but before she did, Natalia made her a promise to “showcase my talents to the world.”
ED Magazine caught up with Natalia, courtesy of Bob Chiappardi and StripJointsMusic.com, to ask her about the upcoming Gentlemen’s Club EXPO in Miami, what gets her moving (in and outside of the club) and her first onstage experience as an entertainer. ED: What was it like for you the first time you got on that stage? Nervous, excited? How soon did you know you enjoyed being an entertainer?
SKYE: The first time I was on stage, I was so nervous and scared. Looking back at it, it was quite comical though. After a few nights of work, I decided I wanted to stick with it. The money definitely helped in my decision, and I’m so glad I did!

ED: Is this your first EXPO coming up? If so, what are you looking forward to most about it?
SKYE: Yes, this is. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone out there! 2020 has been a hard year for everyone, so I feel this EXPO is just what we all need!
ED: For those who haven’t seen you perform yet, what type of “personality” do you have as an entertainer? What are some of your favorite shows to do?
SKYE: I’d like to describe my personality as electrifying. I like to engage with the crowd and make people smile and make sure everyone is having a great time. I definitely am a crowd pleaser! I’d have to say my “maraca madness” and “feel like a woman“ burlesque show are my two favorites to put on. The people seem to like those shows a lot, too!

ED: What are your favorite bands or songs to dance to in the club? Outside of the club, what types of music are your favorites to listen to?
SKYE: I dance to a variety of music. Pick a genre and watch me go! Preferably, I like anything with a beat that I can shake these hips to. Outside of the club I usually listen to different genres of music depending on my mood. I could be listening to Spanish music one minute and switch it up to some heavy metal the next.
