LAS VEGAS, NEVADA - MARCH 31: (L-R) Cat's Meow Las Vegas karaoke bar general manager Michael Marowski, Ashley Wildhaber from Cat's Meow and volunteer Dr. JC Goodman get ready to hand out cases of water to people outside Little Darlings Las Vegas strip club, which is giving away about 15,000 cases of water, more than USD 100,000 worth, over three days to people in need as a result of the continuing spread of the coronavirus across the United States on March 31, 2020 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The club was forced to close after Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak ordered a mandatory shutdown of most nonessential businesses in the state until at least April 16th to help combat the spread of the virus. The World Health Organization declared the coronavirus (COVID-19) a global pandemic on March 11th. (Photo by Ethan Miller/Getty Images)

Dear Las Vegas Community:

The World-Famous Little Darlings [part of the Deja Vu chain of clubs] has been a staple in the Las Vegas community for over 30 years, having provided work to tens of thousands of hard-working women and their families. While we have always prided ourselves in staying active in our communities with charity events, donations, and fundraising drives, we always strive to do more.

When Little Darlings and our affiliated Las Vegas locations were forced to close and deny work to nearly 3,000 employees and entertainers, our hearts filled with sadness as we saw them question their ability to provide for their young ones. We also recognize that there are those who are hit even harder by this crisis.

In times of crisis, people expect government to step in. While we commend the efforts of some local governments, government most often falls short. Ask any supermarket shopper, and you’ll hear that bottled water is nowhere to be found. Now, compound the problem by thinking of the needier among us who can’t afford clean water at all.

During this time of community crisis, Little Darlings will be offering free cases of bottled water to any needy family that asks, while supplies last. This community donation of over 30,000 cases of water (at a cost of over $100,000) is a small price to pay for the countless years of support our clubs and entertainers have received from our valued guests.

This community giveaway will run daily from
March 31st to April 2nd from 1PM to 3PM
at Little Darlings, 1514 Western Avenue, Las Vegas.

Any needy family is welcome as our supply is ample. As always, we hope our neighbors can extend the same generosity as we work our way through these trying times.

Sincerely,

Ryan Carlson, Director of Operations for Deja Vu
