Bio: Kimberly Blaze the entertainer, social worker, addiction counselor, psychology undergrad, and artist.

Kimberly is an international model, world-class pole dancer, acrobat, aerial silk performer and belly dancer. She’s been charming the crowds since the first time she stepped foot on stage at the age of 7 and won an award for singing and dancing. Blaze speaks often of overcoming adversity, sexism, war in her country of birth, immigration, domestic oppression, bullying, gender roles and social expectations. She is an avid advocate for modern women and coming of age, a writer and poet and an academic in her field in psychology and social sciences. In addition to featuring across the continent, she’s a philanthropist working in the downtown eastside of Vancouver to aid in the movement supporting marginalized populations, homelessness, domestic abuse and addiction.

Kimberly is quirky, creative, witty, humorous and a social magnet. She’s bilingual and well-traveled. Her warmth, strong voice, incredible stage presence and beauty is sure to take your breath away. This feature performer has established a name for herself headlining in North America and — driven by ambition to entertain, inspire and change the world — wishes to expand her tours in the US.

Your 10 Questions

ED: What does it mean to be named Miss ExoticDancer.com of the Month?
BLAZE: I get to brag about that to my future adopted children.

ED: How did you get in the industry?
BLAZE: I’ve been dancing since I could walk; I established my own all-girl dance band when I was 12. However, getting into the industry of the adult kind was due to necessity — I needed to pay for school and get away from my conservative family. So I responded to a Craigslist ad for an agency recruiting new talent and I joined the naked circus. Craiglist, yes, cliché I know. I traveled around Canada performing for clubs in all provinces. Shortly after I was featuring in Quebec and many locations in Ontario and Manitoba. I even made it out to Newfoundland. It’s been an incredible journey of trial and error where success followed failure and heartbreak but dreams came true ever so often.

ED: Your favorite thing about the industry?
BLAZE: This is a people’s industry, as much it is a physically demanding job. I enjoy meeting people of all walks of life as much as I enjoy training for the next pole championship.

ED: Given that you travel a lot, where is your favorite place to go and why?
BLAZE: I loved backpacking across Asia — Thailand’s incredible tropics, snorkeling in Koh Tao, partying in Phuket, the elephant reserves and farmland cooking school in Chiang Mai and that unique strip club experience in Bangkok.

ED: What do you consider to be the first perfect date?
BLAZE: Sexy, light, humorous, unpretentious and a little adventurous. Something like drinks and a comedy show followed by a walk on the beach. Skinny dipping if we feel adventurous. Please save the surprise skydiving trip for the third date. I say that because it happened.

ED: What’s your most “unique” fantasy?
BLAZE: I fantasize about saving the world from an alien invasion. I also fantasize about leading a movement in human rights and leaving my mark on the social justice system. I fantasize about connecting by helping others connect, feel inspired and entertained.

ED: Your favorite body part of yourself?
BLAZE: My tiny waist and hourglass shape. But hey, them titties are perkier than a teen porno.

ED: What gets your motor purring?
BLAZE: Adventure, discovery, roller coasters, connecting with people and adrenaline stimulating sports and activities.

ED: What is your favorite saying?
BLAZE: My mother used to say: I don’t lie, I beautify the truth. My father says: There is no truth, there’s only representation.

ED: Best and worst pick-up line?
BLAZE: Best one is “Would you let me take you on a date in every city in the world?” The worst one is “What are you doing after work?”
