ED: What does it mean to be named Miss ExoticDancer.com of the Month?
Claire: It’s a huge honor to be Miss ExoticDancer.com! It’s humbling to continually be recognized for my efforts as a feature performer and each achievement is a further incentive to continue pushing myself to the next level. I’m so thankful for the amount of love and support I’ve received pursuing something I once thought was unattainable.

ED: How did you get into the industry?
Claire: I initially got into the entertainment industry as a go-go dancer at an LGBT club when I was 19. I learned so much about costuming and stage presence from the drag artists, and my performance style is still influenced by my time there.When I turned 21, I auditioned at Omar’s Showbar, which has been my home club for the past seven years. I’m incredibly fortunate to work under a GM who encourages entertainers to go above and beyond and explore the theatrical side of exotic entertainment. I’ve felt very supported every step of the way as a feature.After I had been house dancing for about 4 years, I went to my first Exxxotica in Chicago and ended up winning the Miss Exxxotica pageant, which resulted in a ton of attention on social media. I had always enjoyed doing themed shows at my home club, but that was the turning point in my career when I started marketing myself as a feature entertainer.

ED: Your favorite thing about the industry?
Claire: I love that the industry cultivates and rewards creativity. I have so much fun dreaming of new feature show concepts and costumes. I feel like my most authentic self when I’m performing. The stage is truly my happy place.I’ve dabbled in a lot of different performance styles, but sideshow is by far my favorite. I adore the adrenaline rush of pushing my body to its absolute limit and I’m definitely a sucker for shock value. There aren’t many other industries where eating fire and razorblades would fly.

ED: What is the funniest thing that has happened while you were on stage?
Claire: A couple of years ago, I was on stage at my home club and a customer jumped up on stage with me, pulled out a ring and proposed to me in front of a packed Friday night crowd. I had only met him like or two other times and I was so caught off guard. I was mortified! The staff still laughs about it to this day.

ED: I see some very sexy tattoos on you so which is your favorite?
Claire: The upside-down bat on my chest is definitely my favorite. I get the most questions about my nipple tattoos though, those are a close second for sure.

ED: Your favorite body part of yourself?
Claire: Without a doubt, my ass.

ED: What gets your motor purring?
Claire: Quiet confidence really does it for me. There’s nothing I love more than when somebody is so sure of themself that nothing can get under their skin.

ED: What is your craziest fantasy?
Claire: I honestly don’t fantasize much. I do what I want, consequences be damned.

Claire: The best pickup lines are subtle and leave you wanting to know more about the person. A little bit of aloofness goes a really long way for me. When people come on too strong out of the gate, it makes me want to run away. I take a bit to warm up, but when I do, I’m absolutely obsessed. You’ve gotta let me come to you though.
