Blame it on the damn reality shows.
Due to a scheduling conflict — noted magician and illusionist Criss Angel is now shooting a reality show — the 2022 ED’s Awards Show has been relocated to the spacious Paris Theater, inside the Paris Hotel & Casino. The ED’s Awards Show will still be held on Tuesday, August 16, from 9-11 pm.
The good news is, it’s a very short walk from one casino to the either, as Paris and Planet Hollywood are right next to each other on “The Strip.” (Photo at left shows Paris, with Planet Hollywood directly to the right.)
The even better news is, the one-hour Awards Reception will now include an open bar! Please note, the ED’s Awards Reception will now be held from 7-8 pm at the London Club inside Planet Hollywood (instead of the previously scheduled time of 8-9 pm). At approximately 8 pm, those who join us at the Awards Reception will be invited to walk en masse to the Paris Theater.
“Obviously it’s less than ideal to move our ED’s Awards Show at the last minute, but the Paris Theater is a beautiful venue for the EXPO’s marquee event,” says ED Publications’ Publisher, Dave Manack. “We hope that everyone can join us as we celebrate the industry’s top clubs, entertainers and club staff.”
The 2022 ED’s Awards Show will be hosted by comedian Bret Ernst, who in addition to his stand-up career, also appears in the number-one Netflix show, “Cobra Kai.” Tickets are $69 and can be purchased here!
