Last year’s EDI East Starlet Division 1st Runner-Up, Spencer, discusses her first feature competition, her brand as an entertainer and the women who’ve inspired her career path.

Combining bold storytelling with mesmerizing aerial work, Spencer is quickly becoming the feature entertainer on everyone’s radar. She has a knack for putting on performances that captivate audiences and keep them talking long after the show’s over, a rare quality for a newcomer. Yet, she commands the stage like any veteran dancer.
“I’d define my style as a fusion of sensuality, strength and creativity,” she says in response to our questions about her dance technique. “My performances are a testament to the power of aerial artistry, where athleticism meets artistry, and every moment is designed to leave the audience in awe.”

And “awe” is putting it lightly. Her 2025 EDI East Pokémon-inspired performance left the “judges’ jaws unhinged,” earning her the Starlet Division 1st Runner-Up title and proving she’s more than ready to hit the 2026 competition season head-on.
“That was my first feature competition,” she recalls. “It was a game-changer. I was nervous, but the energy of the community and the dedication of the performers helped me push that aside.”
Her anxiety quickly evolved into adrenaline when she was named a finalist in the Starlets Division, a moment that powered up her energy to push her skills even further. (Pokémon fans will see what I did there.) “Getting second place was an incredible surprise,” she shares. “It fueled my drive to continue pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.”
Spencer didn’t accidentally stumble into her role as a feature entertainer. Her passion for the industry was ignited by the many women who came before her, who fought to carve a path others could follow.
“I was inspired to pursue this career path by the incredible women in the industry who embody the perfect blend of creativity, hard work and passion,” she explains. “Their dedication sparked something within me, and I knew I had to share my own unique vision with the world.”

That vision began taking shape from the moment she started producing her own shows. For Spencer, this process is more than putting together a costume and picking out a soundtrack. It’s an act of creation that allows her to bring her ideas to life.
“Every costume, every prop, every movement is a reflection of my personality and style,” she explains. Spencer works with professional costume designers and prop artists to ensure every piece supports the narrative she wants to convey. “I’m hands-on, working closely with designers and craftsmen to bring my vision to life, and it’s exhilarating to see it all come together on stage.”
Spencer’s brand is built on intention. Every theme is researched, every detail considered. “I make sure I pay respect to whatever theme I may be doing in my shows and really bring it to life,” she says.

Surprising the audience is part of the thrill, and her attention to the unexpected has become a signature. “I like to keep my shows fresh and keep people guessing,” she explains. “I want people to leave thinking, ‘Wow, I didn’t expect that! Definitely gotta see her again!’”
But beyond the spectacle, Spencer’s work carries a message centered on empowerment. Her brand, she says, is about encouraging women to embrace the parts of themselves that society often tries to diminish: strength, sensuality and unapologetic creativity.
Looking ahead, Spencer envisions a future in which her art rises to new heights, both literally and figuratively. “In two to three years, I’d love to be performing at top events, pushing the limits of aerial artistry and sharing my passion with audiences worldwide.”
With her aerial skills, commitment to innovative storytelling and ability to captivate an audience from the moment she steps onstage, Spencer isn’t just entertaining. She’s redefining what feature performances can look like.
“I’m excited to see where this journey takes me, and I’m honored to share it with the world!”
