2024 EDI West

Once again sponsored by Adult Film Superstar Lauren Phillips, Jerry Westlund’s Pony Club in Memphis will host the EDI East, while Denver’s Platinum 84 returns to welcome the ladies of the EDI West.

The annual Exotic Dancer Invitationals, a premier feature dancer competition in the US, has unveiled host locations and rosters for the 2025 series. New this year is a revamped website showcasing the competitors while also serving as an informational portal for both entertainers and club owners who may be interested in participating in the competition in the future.

“Each year the EDIs continue to grow and 2025 is no exception,” says Kristofer Kay, Managing Editor of Exotic Dancer Magazine and co-producer of the EDIs. “Not only will we be headed to two fantastic markets, but we have our most diverse line-ups of entertainers to date and a fresh new website to help us market the contest to the industry and feature fans alike.”

First up, the EDIs return in April with its EDI East competition in the birthplace of rhythm and blues: Memphis, Tennessee. The EDIs will be back at The Memphis Pony for the first time since 2019. As a long-time supporter of feature entertainers, club owner Jerry Westlund has hosted the competition at one of his clubs since the early days.

“It’s always been my goal to up the ante every year as the EDI East host club, and this year you won’t believe the surprises we have in store,” Westlund previously said about hosting the EDIs. “I have always supported feature entertainment, and I continue to support the EDIs because it brings the industry’s top showgirl competition to my clubs. It’s a treat for my customers and staff, and it’s always a blast! Here’s to another year of the EDIs!”

Starting April 9, eight acts will take the stage over three days in the EDI East Showgirl division, including duo performers The Suicide Sirens and Living Sex Dolls. Returning EDI champs Phoenix Phires (2024 EDI East winner) and Rachel Rampage (2024 EDI West Starlet winner) will also compete, with Rachel performing in the Showgirl division for the first time. In the Starlet division, seven newcomers will vie for the coveted title, including five ladies who’ve never competed in the EDIs before.

2025 EDI East

EDI West will take place June 4-6, returning to Platinum 84 in Denver, Colorado for the first time in almost a decade. This year, 18 of the nation’s top and emerging entertainers will be vying for the Showgirl and Starlet titles while in the Mile High City. Autumn Knights, 2024’s Overall EDI Champion, will also return to defend her title.

“We are incredibly excited to be hosting the most elite feature showgirls in the country again at this year’s EDI west at Platinum 84,” says Platinum 84’s General Manager Dave Peacock.

“This is one of our favorite times of the year, when we announce the EDI lineups for East and West,” says ED Publisher and EDI Founder, Dave Manack. “First, we’re headed back to Memphis to Jerry Westlund’s Pony Club for the East, then we return to Denver for the first time in several years and join our friends at Platinum 84 for the EDI West. As always, we expect both contests to be very competitive, and we welcome the new faces in the Starlet divisions!”

The winners and first runner-ups in the EDI Showgirl category will go on to compete for the EDI Overall Grand Champion during the Annual Gentlemen’s Club Expo happening this August 24-27 at the Flamingo Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

2025 EDI West

Helping coordinate both events will be EDI founder and ED Magazine’s Publisher, Dave Manack, Co-Producer and ED Managing Editor, Kristofer Kay, and returning for her second year as EDI Show director, Roxi D’Lite. DJ Danny Myers will return to MC the event along with Lauren Phillips who will bring her trademark energy and fan-following to each show. And no EDI would be complete without rock-star stage manager Rob Aiken!

For the first year, the EDI’s website offers an in-depth look at the competition’s 10-year history, displaying all of its past winners.

“We’re very excited to launch the brand new EDI website,” adds Manack. “This site finally allows us to showcase 10 years of the industry’s leading competition for ‘showgirl’ entertainers, and it celebrates the contest’s history and its winners over the past decade. Special thanks to Jake Record and Kevin Pennington for putting this new site together!”
