Vicki Stover of TravelSource, renowned travel agent to feature entertainers for more than three decades, passed away on Monday at the age of 82 following a long and courageous battle with cancer.
For over 30 years, Vicki dedicated her expertise to booking travel for touring feature dancers and adult performers across the country. Introduced to the industry by her daughter, award-winning feature dancer and former adult film star Lexi Lamour, Vicki quickly became a trusted and beloved figure among agents, performers, and club owners nationwide.
As word of her passing spread, tributes poured in from across the industry from those who had worked with her and loved her.
“There are going to be a lot of lost and confused strippers out there in the wild world of travel moving forward, but in all seriousness, my heart hurts so much,” said her close friend, adult star Stormy Daniels. “She was more of a mother to me than my own, and I imagine there are many girls out there who would say the same. She was a special lady who leaves a hole in my heart and in this world that will never be filled.”
“Vicki has been my friend essentially the entire duration of my career,” shared longtime adult star and feature dancer Brett Rossi. “No matter what time of day I called, she was always there for me. She accepted all of us industry girls for who we were as people, not just what we do to survive. I’ll miss our long talks, her sharp wit, and her uncanny ability to make me laugh even during the hardest times.”
“Vicki was a truly remarkable woman — kind, resourceful, and endlessly gracious,” said adult legend and feature entertainer Tera Patrick. “She always went above and beyond to help, no matter the circumstance. Her warmth and generosity shone through in everything she did. Vicki’s light reached far beyond travel; she touched lives with genuine care, wisdom, and heart.”
“Vicki, I have always said, was my left arm when it came to my business for 27 years,” said Dave Michaels of A-List Features dance agency. “I never wanted to have to do this without her. But more than that, she was one of my best friends. She loved this business and the girls so much. She is absolutely irreplaceable and will forever be remembered within this industry as an angel flying with you.”
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no public memorial services. Instead, she asked that her friends and loved ones celebrate her life in their own ways.
Vicki is survived by her daughter Lexi, her sons Rodney and Jim, four grandchildren, and was preceded in death by one grandson.
The Stover family extends their heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming outpouring of love, sympathy, and remembrance of their mother, both in life and in death.
