Established in 2014, the Exotic Dancer Invitational (EDI) is the most predominant showgirl dance competition in the world. By showcasing the top tier of feature entertainment, the EDI offers the most visible, and most credible, arena for touring showgirl entertainers in North America. Taking place twice a year during two, separate three-night events in some of the most popular adult nightclubs in the U.S., the EDI East and EDI West are the only place where showgirls vie for the crown of EXOTIC DANCER Publications’ coveted “EDI Overall Champion” title that is presented annually at the ED EXPO, the only convention in the world for the billion-dollar adult nightclub industry.

Beauties in the buff in Bluff City!
The EDI East returns to The Pony Club in Memphis (aka ‘Bluff City’) for the first time since 2019. Competitors will grace the stage at Jerry Westlund‘s venue on April 9, 10 and 11. “We’re always happy to partner with Jerry on our EDI, as he’s someone who is an unquestioned supporter of feature entertainment,” says ED’s Publisher, Dave Manack, also the Founder of the EDI. “Jerry’s staff — most especially Stephanie Wilbanks and Jeb Jarrell — always allow us to present a smooth and successful event, and we can’t wait to go back to Memphis!’
Bringing it back to Mile High!
The EDI West returns to Platinum 84 in Denver for the first time since 2017. EDI Showgirls and Starlets will compete on the stage at Scott Richter’s Platinum 84 on June 4, 5 and 6. “Working with Scott, GM Dave Peacock and the great staff at Platinum 84 will help make this a truly memorable EDI West,” says ED’s Managing Editor, Kristofer Kay.
Both EDI contests in 2025 are once again sponsored by adult star and director Lauren Phillips, and will be emceed by Danny Meyers and co-produced by Roxi D’Lite.
