The 2025 EDI West was held at Platinum 84 Denver June 4-6, and was sponsored by adult film super-starlet Lauren Phillips

The views of the Rocky Mountains are certainly stunning, but on June 4-6, it was the EDI West and its amazing competitors that captured Denver’s attention. Held at the always-impressive Platinum 84 and hosted by its owner, Scott Richter, 14 feature entertainers competed in the Showgirl and Starlet Divisions in this year’s EDI West for three pulse-pounding evenings. When all of the confetti cleared, it was the burlesque bombshell Chére Noble who took home the crown in the Showgirl Division, while first-time participant Vampiress seduced the crowd and the judges on her way to winning the Starlet Division.

Chére’s set was part classic burlesque, part Hollywood glamour, and her classic showgirl costume helped her gain the “Best Costume” mini-title. First Runner-Up Angel Beau brought us all back to our youth with her Toy Story/Buzz Lightyear show, and made us all cringe as she stepped and stomped over Legos (ouch!), helping her win the “Most Extreme Show” mini-title. Second Runner-Up Justice added her own wet-and-wild twist to the Willy Wonka story, a show which also garnered her the “Audience Favorite” mini-title.

“I never expected to win a feature competition with a neo-classic burlesque act, but it was a validating experience I’m exceedingly grateful for,” says Chére Noble, who competed in her first EDI in 2024. “Featuring has always felt more like I was doing burlesque than the ‘burlesque circuit,’ so to be chosen as a champion here doing the thing that I began my career so focused on is not something I will soon forget.”

Other Showgirl Division competitors included Nia Nebula’s rousing and hilarious Harry Potter themed “Gryffin-whore” show, which helped earn her the “Most Ambitious Show” mini-title, Ms Galaxy’s “Mad Scientist” show which wowed the judges enough to help her receive the “Best Overall Show” and “Best Dancer” mini-titles, Canadian Madelaine Horn’s somewhat controversial “American Patriarchy” show, which brought her the “Most Original Show” mini-title, Claire Fae’s fire-centric marionette, and Farley Lynn’s “maid to order.”

For the Starlets, it was the first-time competitors who swept the division. Vampiress’ insatiable blood-drenched nocturnal succubus, Spyder’s “Vanity” set and Saint Anique’s “Witch” routine were enough to win each the Starlet Division title, First Runner-Up and Second Runner-Up respectively.

“I’m so honored to have even been invited to compete in EDI  let alone win anything!” exclaims Vampiress. “To say I’m beyond words is an understatement “This is the year I popped my EDI cherry and I somehow ended up winning first place in the Starlet Division! It truly feels too good to be true and yet at the same time it’s a dream-come-true moment for me!”

Other Starlet Division competitors included Persia Persepolis’ Ringmaster, Serenity Valentine’s Gunslinger, and Shelly La’ Belle‘s “Wandavision” (an Ode to Marvel).

ED Publications would like to thank Platinum 84 owner Scott Richter, General Manager Dave Peacock, and all of the staff and entertainers at Platinum 84 who welcomed the EDI contest into their club and provided a great atmosphere for the EDI West! Also, special thanks to EDI sponsor Lauren Phillips, show producer Roxi D’Lite, stage manager Rob Aiken, show emcee Danny Meyers, judge coordinator Kristofer Kay and of course, all of the great ladies who competed at our 2025 EDI West contest!
